Did anyone go to ASI this year? I went and loved it. What a great work that is going on!! Go Laymen!! Amen!!

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I know of some friends who went there and also set up a display there for their mission project. Sadly, I didn't get the chance to go. But I always love catching some of it whenever I can on 3ABN! GYC--General Youth Conference--is my fav. Adventist convention, and I will be going again this year. It is such an awesome experience to see all those young people on fire for God!Cliff2 said:

Once when I was in Cairns, North Queensalnd I met Chester Clark 111. He is involved with the GYC.
I was there on holidays from Brisbane and he was coming through to Brisbane to look for a certain person he knew lived there.
He mentioned the name and it turned out to be one of my good mates who lived not far from me.
How the Lord blessed, amazing.
