Are we now in this world as Jesus is in heaven?

ESV, 1 John 4:

13 By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.
We have been born of the Spirit—the Paraclete dwells in our spirits.

15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.
God lives in us.

16 So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.
Love lives in us.

17 By this is love perfected with us,
We grow in love.

so that we may have confidence for the day of judgment, because as [G2531] he is so also are [G1510-εἰμί] we in this world.
Actually, the verb "is" was not in the Greek.

Strong's Greek: 2531. καθώς (kathos) — 183 Occurrences

HELPS Word-studies:

2531 kathṓs (an adverb derived from 2596 /katá, "according to" and 5613 /hōs, "as compared to, to the extent of") – properly, "in proportion, to the degree that" (J. Thayer); just as (in direct proportion), corresponding to fully (exactly).
BDAG:
① of comparison, just as
② of extent or degree to which, as, to the degree that
③ of cause, since, in so far as
④ of temporality, as, when

Berean Standard Bible:

for in this world we are just like Him.
When he walked in Judea, Jesus was love. After his death, he sent the Paraclete to dwell in us. Today, we have love dwelling in our spirits, just like Jesus.

John 17:

22 The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one.
Are we now in this world as Jesus is in heaven?

No, not exactly. However, with respect to the power of love, we are just like he was in this world. John pointed out the transformative power of our union with Christ and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Believers can live in this world in a manner of love, just as Jesus was.

I Love the Spirit inspired words that you have written, my Brother in Jesus Christ, Who's Holy Spirit dwells within you.
