I am currently working on a action/adventure web comic called "Angelsight", I've been working on writing it for about 2 years now, and at one point published it at drunkduck, but took it back down because the art was so bad it was getting in the way of people enjoying it. I am now looking for an astist to help me in finally giving life to this project. Preferably (but not required) is someone with an interest in writing so I can bounce ideas and maybe get some new fresh directions for the story. I was looking on another artist forum, but I realized my priority should be finding a dedicated Christian. ("Do not be unequaly Yoked")
Synopsys
The story opens with a teenage boy named claye who has just moved in to the city with his father, which he's not too happy about. He seems to hold a grudge against God, who he really doesn't even beleive in. But then when he's late getting home, he takes a shortcut down an alley that ends up being a dead end and sees the last thing he excepted - an angel! Her name is Ceana and she has some weird ailment, and he helps her and they part way, but Claye gets his second shock - The angel comes back, disguised as a human and is now "Laying low" as one of the students in his school! The story is an action story with a little bit of highschool drama and comedy thrown in.
Characters
Claye Barton
Age: 14. Male Human
He is the protagonist of the story. He is a bit shy, reclusive. He keeps a fairly passive friendship with Micheal. who he knows from school. He's friendly, but doesn't really hang out with him otherwise. Claye just doesn't see any importance in friendships or romance, or anything because he's so wrapped up in his self-pity, and afraid of being hurt by eventual seperation of one sort of another.
Micheal Allen
Age: 15. Male Human
Outgoing, Friendly and laid back. It doesn't seem that Micheal is annoyed easily. Micheal shows his laid back style by wearing a t-shirt with a open button-up shirt over it with jeans.
Airen Sato
Age: 15. Female Human.
The school's self-proclaimed "Match maker", Airen is extremly outgoing and loves solving problems, especialy other peoples. She sees Claye, who's never had a girlfriend as her biggest challange. She will most often act hurt to get what she wants, and will be forcefull "For their own good" to "help" them. One person once commented that "Airen's scary"
Ceana "Smith"
Age: ~8,000 Female Angel
Moderitly high ranking Angel hero, directly under gabriel himself. She seems to have a strange ailment that causes her to suddently and unexpectedly loose her abillity to fly or "phase". Even she, an high ranking angel has her doubts about what's going on, and maybe she does have a small amount of resentment/doubt much like what Claye has. Ceana goes by the name "Ceana Smith" while she is pretending to be a human. Her name means "God is gracious"
Aleda
Age: ~500 Male Angel
Headstrong young Angel trainee. He has a short temper and a good heart, and so will go flying off to defend what's right, sometimes foolishly rashly. His name means "Small and winged"
Uriah
Age: ~1,500 Male Angel.
An Angel of the army. He is a rank below Ceana, and takes his job very seriously. He is resentfull, because he feels he is Passed over for prootions and isn't given the praise he deserves. His name means "God is my light"
So far I've written around 4 chapters, (about 80 pages of script).
I can't promise pay, or anything, but I'd gladly split as a partner anything if by some chance this does make some profit (But that's no really my main intention).
