That's another favorite! I spent a long time studying the reflections in the mirror on the back wall of the painting one day in an art history class. It was a good day!

Can't explain why, but I really like this portrait. I think it's the sleeve detail. I get hung up on brush strokes when I study a painting.

I've seen two of the three I've posted here. They were already favorites. Seeing them -- not reproductions and not photographs -- brought a whole new appreciation.

This shows Ankhenaten and Nefertiti with two of their daughters. A touching picture of the royal family, in a style rarely seen in ancient Egyptian art.

A picture of Tutankhamun, and his wife Ankhesenpaaten found on the back of a throne in Tutankhamun's tomb. I find it very beautiful.

I love ancient Egyptian art, and it was very hard for me to only choose two.

looking4wisdom, that appears to be Vishnu, Laxmi, and Brahma in a scene from one of the Hindu creation stories. (I may be wrong however, but that is what it appears like to me. )
