Hey everyone. I am fairly new here so wanted to start to get to know some of you!!! I wondered if any of you have kept are are keeping any type of creative journal. If you don't know what it is, type it in on YouTube and you will find endless videos (I love the flip throughs)

I start a Junk Journal not to long ago. The base is an old book and I ripped some pages out. Each page that I create has a meaning but I always try to incorporate God into everything I do

It is true. I got detention for my art homework! She said it had taken me half and hour on the bus... it had taken me almost a week

Oh, and my painting of my bedroom was another bad piece. It looked like a preschooler's painting.

That’s because she mistook her talent for yours and you believed her negative comments. Everybody is creative in different ways . I’ve got a biology degree and I bump into that stupid stereotype about scientists being humorless and rigid all the time. I also dance , paint and design a lot of things. This stupid stereotype caused a lot of friction between my parents and me when I was a teen as they thought I should act like the stereotype .

You’ve accepted someone else’s stereotype of who you are and have shut off exploring your own creativity. Start that exploration by stop telling yourself that you’re not creative!

Thanks Well i have a project in hand atm. I want to create a picture for my wall but am stuck... bought the things months ago to do it!

I have considered doing an art journal, but I have never managed to keep it up. I seem to go through stages with my hobbies.
