Arrested Development

Alright. This is quite possibly the best show on television right now. And it makes me sad that everyone raves about it, but no one watches it. It is hilarious: the characters, the plot, the flashbacks, everything.

I think I've probably watched the first season about five or six times now. And it still doesn't get old. If you see it on DVD, buy it; it's worth it.

Anyone else a fan?

This is the Best Show on Network TV. The character development is just so wel ldone and each episode really does have purpose and drive.

"Oh No! It's the police!...and...A construction worker...."

Buster is hilarious.

And David Cross' character is great.

When it is running it airs Sunday nights.

This past season got cut down to 18 episodes to make room for the (recycled family guy jokes that make up) American Dad. Once again, Fox astounds us all with their ability to make stupid decisions. Although, I do forgive them for renewing the show; I was so scared my beloved Arrested Development would be cancelled.

You should pick up the first season on DVD. It is well worth the twenty-some dollars it costs and it is absolutely brilliant watching the episodes in order and seeing how everything interweaves and events result from other things that happened a few episodes before. Genius.

"Twenty-some dollars"???? Yeah right, show seasons on DVD never cost that little. You must mean American dollars right, cause hmm... multiply that by a billion and you have Canadian dollars eh.

Ah. I didn't know you were Canadian. I suppose that would make a difference. I got mine on sale at Target for $19.98 (US). Try eBay or half.com; I'm sure you could get a good deal there. It's totally worth it.

I should buy the DVD because I always forget to watch it on TV.

I also agree how American Dad is not funny. You think it would be at least decent because it is from the same creators of Family Guy.

It seems like they took all of the jokes that didn't make it into Family Guy and threw them in there. It just seems like leftovers and recycled material. And I wouldn't be so upset about it if Arrested Development hadn't been cut six episodes short to make room for that.

I wish Fox would hire me to tell them what shows they should do and which ones they should trash. I mean, honestly, I could have told them from the start that Life On A Stick would not be the next Seinfeld. I could save them millions. And in turn they could pay me the millions they save. Actually, I'd be happy with a job like that from any network; they all make stupid decisions. Case in point: Blind Justice, the show about a blind man who solves mysteries. Who comes up with this ****?

I think Arrested Development is brilliant (and I have only seen a hand full of episodes)
I really would like to get the first season on DVD to get all the background info on everyone.... but from what I've seen... it's a show that could easily become a fav

I had to do some digging, but I finally found this thread!

AD is the best show on TV bar none.

The entire cast is awesome, the store lines (should that be hyphonated or possibly one word?) are great and it's all very odd but possible.

The DVDs is definately worth the money!
