I have reflected much on my boot experence, and I took nothing out of it but a bad experence (although I quit the military after basic becasue I refused to go to OCS and be subjected to 3 more months of boot), I finally got my final discharge a week ago and I went to boot in jan 05. God and letters from my wife are what got me through boot, a nervous break down was not an option unless it were coupled with going AWOL (since getting a phyc lable would only keep me there longer and in turn prolong the cause of my breakdown, which is really counter productive) I also had a busted ancle I passed a PT test with because I hated that place and the people so very much, I really did feel like a prisoner and it would surprise me if she did not feel the same way, prayer is always good but she may be in a tough situation and may need congressional help (legal help takes way to long and a lawyer can not bring down the hammer like a congressional inquiry can). What she is going through is likely an absolute nightmare and hazing someone who is in recovery adds no training value and that is exactly what they do.
I am sure the medical treatment is very good, I am refering to the general treatment day to day when she should be in a removed from training status (ie she should not have any association with drills but I know she does and I know what they do).
