Storyline: Panatomine: The City of the Living

Wendia is the child of a small band of humans; skilled artists of the Old Ones that fled the city destruction and chaos to end up in the Great Forest. They soon found the Forest a welcome existence because of the protection and fellow artisans they found in the fairies. The small band grew into a hidden village, 'WhisperTree' that knew only the occasional outsider.
Wendia was born far too curious for her own good though. She is curious about the outside, about the world she hears about in the legends and stories. She is often to be found pouring over scrolls or tablets from the meager underground library of the village. Her penchant for eagerly devouring the information found in the writings of her ancestors has earned her the reputation for being odd with her peers. Because of the necessities of life, her village's artisans moved to more... utilitarian artistic endeavors, therefore her dreamy attitude while very much like her ancestors, is no longer welcomed in the village.
Wendia possesses one extraordinary skill. She is a uniquely talented artist and specializes in landscapes. The odd thing is… Wendia has been known to disappear for hours and claim she was walking in the painting. Her fellow artists think her a bit daft and ignore her claims. However she IS able to paint a landscape and somehow project herself into it. Only Wendia and a few of the wiser fairies know about her strange ability.
Personality – Wendia is a gentle, kind person but very naive at the beginning of this adventure. Once she knows someone, she is usually outgoing, smiling and fun. Wendia laughs easily and is the first to encourage and try to make another smile, having known the pain of rejection herself.
Wendia learned a provocative dance style from an outsider who visited with the village but left. This style is looked down upon by the ‘esoteric’ of the village but she doesn’t seem to care. However, because of her ‘oddness’ the village mostly ignores Wendia. Therefore Wendia has learned to live with the pain of rejection. So Wendia withdrew. She lives almost a hermit life now with her parents for almost ten years on the outskirts of the village. However she has many paintings of late she has been spending time in. One she does not recognize but it is the town of Tamar.

*Decent archer although her hunting skills have mainly been used to feed her family and she is loathe to kill anything unless necessary. To make herself inflict as little pain as possible on the creature she kills for food she has made herself become proficient with the bow. This attitude comes perhaps from living so closely to the fairies and their realm.
