Split Rock
Conflation of Blathers
Yes I'm sure. You will note that I said today in my post.
Words and concepts change over time as I'm sure you know. Semantic games is not something that can either prove or disprove science or the scientific method.
What does 'today' have to do with this thread?
I'm trying to reconstruct the past here.
I find it interesting that you didn't mention that he may have been taught that by his predecessors.
You claim he didn't discover this [at-the-time] scientific fact, yet you didn't give credit to his predecessors.
I have a feeling he was indeed made a scapegoat to shift the focus off of the fact that scientific errors can, and are, perpetuated.
VirOptimus had your purpose in making this thread pegged from the start.. just as we all did. You are like an Bad Open Book to us. In response you deceitfully claimed your purpose was just to "reconstruct the past." Finally, you admit the truth, that you are trying to use Aristotle to discredit science today. Is this something Jesus would do, or a Pharisee? Or perhaps a certain Fallen Angel? Answer that, AVET.
