I was wondering if people believe their sins are forgiven, and if so, How much of their sins are forgiven?

Luke 7
44Then he turned toward the woman and said to Simon, "Do you see this woman? I came into your house. You did not give me any water for my feet, but she wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair. 45You did not give me a kiss, but this woman, from the time I entered, has not stopped kissing my feet. 46You did not put oil on my head, but she has poured perfume on my feet. 47Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven—for she loved much. But he who has been forgiven little loves little

Tobit 12
9 For alms*delivereth from death, and the same is that which purgeth away sins, and maketh to find mercy and life everlasting

*Alms
1 archaic : charity*
*charity
1: benevolent goodwill toward or love of humanity

All my sins have been forgiven. For Christ has shed His blood once for all and those whom believe in Him have their sins washed by the blood of Jesus.

So you must love a lot. How do you keep from sinning and losing your savior?

Hebrews 10:
26For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 27But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. 28He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: 29Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? 30For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.

I understand this passage of scripture to say; and I could be wrong, that the more vile a person is when the find Jesus, the more grateful they are when He saves them. Someone who lives a really horrible life will have a radical change, and opposed to someone who was a moral person, but still lost.

But the good news is that it matters not what we have done, or how much of it we have done, for while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.

DOn't you think sin is a broad term? I mean, are we really to judge what a sin is? You have the 10 commandments, but look at they gray areas. Thou shalt not kill. But what if an abused wife kills her husband in self defense...is that a sin? I mean some would say thats a sin and others would say it not, but how are we to really know?
