Messianic group in Beijing China

Recently I have a Shabbat service in Beijing China with an Messianic American , who has Jewish blood but is not a Jewish. He himself thinks he is a Messianic Christian. we have a worship pogram of general Messianic style, using English,Hebrew and Chinese.

Is this small group(2 persons) a part of Mainstream Messianic Judaism?

Messianic group in Beijing China

Awesome to hear and welcome to the boards. Praying you'd have an amazing time here, for however long you choose to stay. On a side note, it's rather cool to hear of Messianic groups in China, as there were already recent conversations on the Jewish communities in Asia that many are not aware of (as discussed here in #9 and #227 ).

It only takes 2 or 3 to really start some things---but I'd have no reason to think you are not apart of the Movement itself since there are many who may have Jewish blood and yet consider themselves to be Hebrew Christians (also known as Messianic Christians) if/when they may still appreciate or see the purpose of the Lord within the Church.

But I can understand why you may ask some of the things you did, in regards to what you've noted about your heritage and how in many places you've not been allowed to participate in many forms of Judaic practice be in unto the Lord Yeshua or not (as seen in #6 and #2 and #12 )--and I thought some of your threads was very insightful. Specifically, the one called Should Messianic have relationship with Anti-Semite Christian? and Abrahamic Faith and Messianic Judaism(Church of West Asia and Israel)

Definately feeling where you're coming from, Bruh--and there are plenty of other folks in the same boat as you. Thankfully, however, it doesn't have to be a negative when being involved in two differing worlds since even people not involved heavily in a MJ fellowship can still be connected via networking/getting people in one camp exposed to what is happening in a MJ one..and likewise, getting people within MJ camps exposed to what's happening all over the body and ensuring that cross-polinization occurs at all levels just like it was in the early church. Personally, I've been glad for places that've aided me when I was in those times mentioned..such as having Prayer Rooms that people from all sides can come to/simply intercede for others And even in not going to the same places, thank goodness that didn't mean we couldn't hang out/see how we could life one another up or laugh it up with one another together

I do listen to podcasts from the MJ group in Jacksonville Fl., and have taken my pastor to MJ group for a few services. Their worship dancers have come to our church a couple times with Ted Pearce.
I'm assuming Ted Pearce goes to the MJ church with the dancers who come up to your church, correct? If I am off on that, my bad..but glad to know you all have dancers within that MJ fellowship since it is truly beautiful being able to glorify the Lord that way

Each fall we collect offerings and have made it possible for over 10 Jewish Soviet families to move to Israel.

Praise the Lord. Truly, the Lord is good...and it's so amazing to see others live out what Paul noted in Romans 15 with the Gentiles supporting those who are Jewish ( Romans 15:24 )
All people connected via the Spirit and learning how to get along to get along and sing together for what Christ has to do bring together for His glory!!!!
