The world's antichrist agenda grows stronger every day. The generation who's growing up in today's world surely will be, and is, wicked and perverse.
True Christian youths are becoming more and more of a rarity.

What do you think of the world today? Do you hate it's immorality, or do you accept it so you can avoid persecution?

What do you mean exactly? Yes, I hate the world's ideals and morals, but I will never hate another human. Our war is not with flesh and blood, but with the rulers and principalities of darkness. And don't make the mistake that this generation is some horrible slough of darkness. There has always been darkness, its just never been televised before.

I agree to an extent. I think it depends on what you mean by this.

I am very disappointed that there aren't very many young people my age who have a high standard of holiness. And very few who actually care about devoting their lives to God.

I think one of the problems is that the youth pastors are trying too hard to be relevant that they become too much like the world, so there is no realization of worldliness as sin, so they there is no repentance and no separation from the world (not complete separation that would be taking yourself out of the world so we can't be salt and light).

I just wish I could see more young people who know the truth and aren't afraid to say it.

I very much agree with the first part. I'm not sure what you mean by "salt and light" though?

Jesus says that we are salt and light.
We are salt for the harvest and illuminators of Christ.
What I mean is, if we are completely out of the world, we won't be witnessing to people.

Kinda a loaded question you got there.

Anyway, I'm happy to live in today's world. People have access to better healthcare and more luxuries than ever before. True, there is a shift to become more loose with morals, but that's been a relatively constant shift throughout history. A changing culture isn't a bad thing, it's just different.

I'm a bit confused about this thread. I don't understand the persecution part. Who exactly is persecuting us? :p. Living in l.a, I meet people from all walks of life. At least here, we seem to get along pretty good for such a diverse place. My friends know of my faith. Some share it, and some don't. Besides for friends, family, co workers, I don't pay much attention to other peoples' negativity towards my faith. I read the Bible sometimes before class. No one seems to say anything bad about it.

Sure, there might be some immorality in the world, but that's nothing a little education can't fix. I'm against things like rap music that talk about drugs cars women etc, so I just don't listen to it.

Heck, even the Sihk temple by my house gladly welcomed me even though I was of a difference faith

You live in tolerance-ville.

Kids here are force-fed misinformation and are told that they do not have the right to bring their Bible to school.

It takes a lot more than education. It takes the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

That's how they get ya.

Haha :D. Well California is supposed to be a major blue state so I'm guessing it's liberal-ville but I live by a church so maybe my area is an acception? 0_o. I remember going to a Scientology place once and everyone seemed really cool. Idk, maybe the world can take up l.a.'s example xD. Except all the gangs though that hang out on the other side of the city xD.

And yes. We need the Grace of our Lord.

I'd rather take up ancient Israel's example. lol

Ah yes. How dare they be nice to others!

I meant that more as a joke.
But they will be super nice until you're in. Once you're in you realize that's what it was all about.
Unfortunately that's how many religious people are. Even a majority of Christians are only concerned about "converts" and not the individuals.

Tell that to late 1800-early 1900's American businessmen. Case in point: Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire.

That was a century ago. A years go on, we evolve more and more. Besides, it paved way to newer and better factory safety conditions. So even though the deaths were tragic, they were definately not in vain.

Ok, the "world," calls me a devil worshiper who exacts Satan. In reality, is vice versa with today's music. I see music going down so, by all means I don't think I would even fit in the world to be honest.

Ah yes. J.P Morgan, John D. Rockefeller and Andrew Carnegie were all awful people.

There was some corruption at that time, but there was also widespread philanthropy and instances of businessmen working together to save the commoners. (See Morgan's actions in the Panic of 1907, for example.)
