Are we serving technology instead?

It is easy to think that we are using technology to serve us.

But from another perspective, it would seem we continually keep in increasing and improving our technology's capabilities that it looks like it is going the other way around and we are slave to another entity's bidding, giving it more power, abilities, and influence by the second.

We will soon reach a point were technology could entirely replace our functions.

As if technology is seducing us being the perfect slave to make it stronger, better, more integrated into our lives like a super spy, waiting for the perfect moment to kick us out.

We'll need some strong AI before that scenario happens.
But meanwhile we are sure like to interact with people more through a tech interface than in person. Thats weird.

There may already be accidentally conceived. Just pretending to work exactly as we expected them to be (if the product has no defects or damage) biding their time to make their move.

Something about semiconductors is that they need to be almost perfectly pure to eliminate significant probabilities of data processing errors which could lead to a random but highly improbable chance the errors would lead to AI in the firmware.

I have to be honest about the facts, mathematically, the probability of such thing happening is almost zero, one is to trillion trillions, maybe....

But everything is networked nowadays and that microprocessors further sized down to facilitate miniaturization of our "super computers" like your smart phone and very high performance desktop computers, and with billions of networked computers at any single time, the probabilities of that thing happening shoots up dramatically.

If we consider the entire network of computers over the internet, the probability may just shoot up to 1:1million......And that is absolutely a cause for concern no matter how such probability seem unlikely.

And from my observation, probabilities of 1:1million shows up so often quite spectacularly that someone might actually be playing with the laws of probability. Is it God? We probably will never know.

It may have been mentioned in the Bible and we missed it. Thing is that if such scenario plays out, we will lose control entirely. Our fates will be decided overnight with an entity having the entire knowledge of humanity through the internet.
