I will play my games. And I will trust in Jesus Christ as my personal Saviour. That being said, I won't be an [my mouth is washed, thank you very much] on CF and try to get people to adhere to my strict interpretation of the Bible.

Actually I do but not according to your way, which is your own right, we can have a life in this life but with Christ Jesus and not without him here it is in MARK 30Jesus said, `I tell you the truth. If any man has left his house, or his brothers, or his sisters, his mother, or his father, or his children, or farms, for my sake and for the sake of the good news, he will receive his pay in this life. He will have a hundred times as many houses, and brothers, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and farms. He will have trouble also. But in the next world he will live for ever. We are to stick with Jesus and his principles and not violate the law of love for gain but trust in him, this has nothing to do with recreational activites as long as they are within love.

If people were helping people ALOT, then no one would be saying anything about playing videogames.

But hardly anyone cares.

I'm not saying to never have fun, I'm saying that christians have their prioritys mostly wrong, mostly selfish.
No you my friend are heading down a path of in-balance that i once entered. I also thought just like you at one point of time, and my exact words I will never forget it was that, "i have not found 1 christian. I also began to think I was the only one with the truth and felt persecuted and deserted when I spoke the way you are currently speaking. It led me to isolation and eventually turning my back on God and being bitter towards Christians. What took me to come back is that their is a time for everything still, still holding the principles of Christ thats number 1 in everything we do, rather tv, movies, games, music, finances etc. but to say their is no down time, or you have to sell off all your possessions and live in the streets is missing the point. Christ hung out with sinners but was not influenced he was an example a positive influence. Was at a wine party but was not gettin drunk or acting a fool. Had dinner with the apostles and was a carpenter. In all these things he kept God in the center but he lived life. Christ said I come that you may have life more abundantly. I use to stress about what's next, what can I do now but i realize I might accomplish all that yet fail in other areas and still end up short. So its better step at a time, with Christ hand by hand! here a little there a little. God bless bro!
