Are there people who truly beyond redemption or do they choose to be that way?

Is it wrong to say that someone is "full of H"? It wouldn't make sense if I don't explain. It means that a person is so mean and acting so evil that that phrase makes sense. Now anyone can repent, but are there some people so irredeemable that it seems that there is no hope that they can be saved, even if one is pretty much evil or rather "sociopathic"? Are sociopaths the ones who God says in Romans 1 give up to vile passions?

Do sociopaths need an extra dose of the Holy Spirit or can they be redeemed? I'm sure they can be redeemed but I wonder if it will be difficult to redeem someone who is so narcissistic, sociopathic, or "full of H" so to speak? I just hope you understand my point or how I am coming across.

Don't worry yourself about the Full of H title...I meant to change that to "Are there people who are truly beyond redemption?" Are these the very people that God gave in to vile passions because they have a reprobate mind? Help me to understand.

Yes, this is a repost. I have a difficult time trying to change the title, so I guess this is more or less a repost or a double post.

I'm not a religious person, so I see it naturalistically. A person's behavior results from a combination of how his brain is wired, and what he's learned. I doubt that one's neural architecture can be changed--basic drives and impulses are always there. But one can learn to control, or modify them. And ASPD is a spectrum. It's normal to have some fleeting antisocial thoughts in stressful situations. But most of us handle it appropriately. The few people on the extreme end, who commit major criminal acts without compunction, can't be rehabilitated. I don't believe any kind of therapy or religious intervention will change them.

From a Biblical perspective, I believe that only people who have committed the unpardonable sin are truly beyond redemption. Just look at Saul, the man who became Paul. He was a murderer and someone who actively tried to stamp out Christianity. He ended up writing three-quarters of the New Testament. Sociopaths, sadists, etc, these are all spiritual diseases, and they can all be cured by the touch of Christ's blood, through the Holy Spirit.

Blessings,
Deon

I did already. I guess there is nothing more I could do. Thanks for the heads up.
