True. Jesus's blood cleanses you of ALL unrighteousness. There's no "all unrighteousness except for" in there anywhere.

I was really wondering what other people's views are on this. Are there some sins that God simply cannot forgive because they are too terrible and if a Christian ever commits them, does that mean they have done something unpardonable?

I believe the only unpardonable sin is the rejection of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

If it's unpardonable, there's a *LOT* of Christians I know who are going to Hell because they did that at least once during their youth.
I think I stick with my answer.

I have really wondered and worried about this because Satan has frequently tried to literally force me (and I mean overwhelming temptation that is unbearable) for instance to pray to him and call him 'lord'. If a Christian did that or some other unimaginably terrible sin would they be eternally condemned to hell as Judas was when he betrayed Jesus? Could a Christian sell their soul to Satan?
Please help!

The Hunry,
the bible has many instances where people are controlled by the demons, and where demons are in a person's body.
And I believe in spiritual warfares, and there are many churches that have pastors well equipped in the knowledge of spiritual warfare.
Go for a deliverance. Seek God for help and go to a pastor that will spiritually delivered you from demon bondages.
Let me ask you. Do you hear voices speaking in your head? Voices you know do not belong to your thoughts.

If there is one, it's "blasphemy of the holy spirit", to which there are two or three references in the Bible. There's substantial debate about what it is, but one thing everyone agrees on is that, if you are worried that you may have done it, you *cannot* have done it.

Hungry,
I would recommend a book called "Battlefield of the Mind" by Joyce Meyer. It helped me to understand and overcome the evil thoughts that once plagued me inside of my own mind. This is Satan's battlefield to tempt and try to defeat Christians. Once you learn this and discover how to deal with it, you will have taken the last stronghold away from the Devil. I no longer doubt my salvation as I once did, and I don't constantly find myself casting out evil thoughts. I highly recommend you check your library. Or I will send you my copy free of charge.
Your brother in Christ Jesus,
BK

I agree, seebs. Many people (such as myself) think that it is something along the lines of attributing the work and miracles of Christ to the Devil, calling them Satanic works.

Scripture mentions only one unforgivable sin, blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.
There are a few ideas about what blasphemy is. I believe that blasphemy is rejecting Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior.
