I'd say most of us have either seen or been through Hell while we were on earth -- and the Devil couldn't come up with anything much worse than what we've already been through courtesy of humans (the ones who "love the sinner and hate the sin" kind) -- so, I'd think we'd be on the fast track to Heaven!

Not that I have any expectations that many (most) people are going to be happy to see us...

I can testify that the burning and weeping through the gnashing of teeth is not something for anyone to desire.

I also thought it odd for uber to believe satan would be an administrator of punishment in Hell, as I have never read anything to allude to him being respected above the rest condemned there

I guess there's just no accounting for what people are told they believe -- especially when they're held accountable for what people tell them they believe, whether or not that has any basis in reality.

I never said you couldn't be a carnal Christian. It's possible, but after awhile God should atleast start pushing this on you, and you will eventually have to make a choice.

Eternal Security is taught by the best Theologians, including Charles Stanley. I'm sorry, I believe them over you. Why would God ever want us to question our salvation? Salvation isn't an "at will" employment. God says it's a free gift, so does He take His "free gift" away from people?

I meant this thread to take another turn, I wanted it to be deleted to include a poll, but nonetheless, it will just get buried after a few days I'm sure, and I'll start another one w/a poll and explain my thought process and intent in clear, concise direction of thought.
