Ugh (not disdain at you,) I can't really describe.

The dig marks were reversed, and inverted, as if some"thing" was not only scratching me, but also upside down. It still sounds naturally plausible, but believe me my family had several demonstrations trying to figure out where the marks came from. The "initial" dig marks didn't make sense.

Keep in mind these scratches I got I felt in a lucid dream, then I woke up to confirm. I saw the entity in dream, I fought it in dreams, I still remember them. The spirit world is real, and as I alluded to, you don't have to be possessed, or damned to contend with them.

My family has had some similar incidents. Not quite in the same way, but close enough for horseshoes. More than can be brushed off to 'sleep paralysis' or those kinds of explanations.

We have a mutual faith warrior togetherness in my tribe because we know who the enemies really are.

They have, as they say, shown their faces. The blacks of their eyes as opposed to whites.

I'd say this depends of one's definition of ghost. If we go by what's presented in the OP I'd agree. But if we're including what happened at the Transfiguration or an event cause by King Saul, well.......
Now from reading some of the responses I'd say a few have Ghost Busters theology. Meaning they derived their theology from that sort of movie.

I will say, sleep paralysis is where it starts now that I am aware. If I manage to move my paralyzed mouth to pray in Christ's name, I am released. Sometimes I have to do it multiple tries. Ironically, most UFO abducted experience the same thing, and some who call out Christ's name claim the "aliens" leave, and the paralysis stops.

I know their psychic assaults, it goes beyond sleep paralysis even. And, I have seen them. Black eyes, and slow, deep voiced foreign language speech. Usually assimilated with red or black clothes in dreams. Again, for anyone else these "ghosts" are nefarious, insidious deceptive entities that want nothing to do but to steal and corrupt. They are nice if you indulge them, and cater to their whims. If you even attempt to rebuke them, they become mean, angry and vengeful - but they are all on a spiritual leash of God.
