Are EGW compilations dangerous?

This is the kind of bias that makes compilations so dangerous. People who take a quote in this case just a line and insert it into a meaning not present in the original. Official compilations are not as bad as the unbalanced folks like Eugene above. But it brings out an important point in that not all compilations are official SDA publications the fringe traditional groups will also publish (or post on the internet) compilations and these are in fact often contextually wrong as well as biased by compilers views. Thanks for pointing that out Eugene.

And I think you have a difficulty understanding the dictionary definition of compiling data and a compilation. To compile means to gather together into a single document or book.

Well if that is all a compilation is then I guess they must soundly be rejected. Because I could make a compilation of sentances or portions of sentances from anyone and make them say things totally different from what those orignal sentences said.

White where Ellen White implores Seventh-day Adventists to not be just like the Jews at the time of Christ but that they are anyway. There is no doubt that you fit that profile because you condemn ideas out of your own ignorance and prejudices. Sadly, like the vast majority in the Jewish Church of the First Century, you are so full of pride for you own position the fact that you have no understanding of the issues does not deter you from pronouncing your ignorant judgments.

I must admit I certainly don't follow the master that you do, but then again I actually think you have mental problems so I don't know what distorted mental image you follow after.

That's exactly what the Pharisees and Sadducees said about Jesus but their estimate of the facts was a hypocritical rant. Like them, you only know my theology well enough to recommend that I be crucified for upsetting the Jewish church but you don't understand it well enough to be able to show that it is wrong, Biblically.
