This post from another thread brought up Daniel 12 in relation to Luke's 70AD discourse.

Not sure about Daniel 12:1, but Berean's quote of Luke 21:24, Acts 28:28 and Rom 11:25 is speaking of the same thing.
Let look at Daniel 12 in relation to Luke's 70AD Temple/Jerusalem Discourse:

Daniel 12:1

"In that time Michael shall stand-up, the chief/prince, the great, the one, standing over sons of thy people.
And time of distress<06869>, which not occurred since to become of a nation, until the time, that.
And in that time, thy people shall escape<4422>, Every of the one being found being written in scroll. Luke 21:23-36

Matthew 24:
9 - “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.
21 for then shall be great Tribulation<2347>, such as was not from the beginning of world till now, no, nor may be becoming
Mark 13:19
For in those days shall be tribulation<2347> such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.
===========================
Unlike Matt and Mar' versions, Luke's version has "great distress and wrath"

Luke 21:
23 “But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days!
For there will be great Distress<318> in the land and wrath upon this people.
24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
Herod's Temple: Revelation 11:2 and the Court/fold<833> without of the Sanctuary, be casting-out!<1544> out-side<1854>, and no it thou should be measuring, that it was given to the nations and the holy City they shall be treading<3961> forty two months.
36 “Yet be being vigilant/watching<69>, in every season<2540> beseeching<1189> that ye should be being strong to be escaping<1628> all these, the being about to be becoming and to stand before the Son of the Man.[Daniel 12:1]
Revelation 6:16
and they said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! 17 “For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”
1Th 5:3
For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape

The Destruction of Jerusalem - George Peter Holford, 1805AD

The day on which Titus encompassed Jerusalem, was the feast of the Passover

On the appearance of the Roman army, the factious Jews united, and, rushing furiously out of the city repulsed the tenth legion, which was with difficulty preserved. This event caused a short suspension of hostilities, and, by opening the gates, gave an opportunity to such as were so disposed to make their escape ; which before this they could not have attempted without interruption, from the suspicion that they wished to revolt to the Romans. This success inspired the Jews with confidence, and they resolved to defend their city to the very uttermost ; but it did not prevent the renewal of their civil broils.............

In executing the command of Titus, relative to the demolition of Jerusalem, the Roman soldiers not only threw down the buildings, but even dug up their foundations, and so completely leveled the whole circuit of the city, that a stranger would scarcely have known that it had ever been inhabited by human beings. Thus was this great City, which only five months before, had been crowded with nearly two millions of people, who gloried in its impregnable strength, entirely depopulated, and levelled with the ground.....................

The Great City/Harlot/Queen Revelation chapts 17-19

Revelation 18:
2 and He cries out<2896> in a strong voice, saying,
"She Falls! She falls! Babylon the great, and She became a habitation<2732> of demons, and a hold/prison<5438> of every unclean<169> spirit, and a hold of every bird, unclean and having been hated.

19 and they cast dust upon their heads, and cried<2896>, lamenting<2799>, weeping and mourning<3996>, saying,
"Woe! woe! the great City! in which are rich all those having ships<4143> in the sea, out of Her preciousness<5094>,
for to one hour was She was desolated<2049>.

Yea, they are both the same thing.

You got a lot going on in the OP but they describe the wtath of the beast after the abomination of desolation. The trumpets have all pretty much sounded so there is nothing to restrain him. Israel flees south. They have already repented. The Archangle Michael and his angels drive Satan and his angels out. The Devil is more furious then he has ever been, but try as he might he cannot destroy Israel the next 3 1/2 years. Meanwhile Israel has a long period of repentance, and I suspect they are guided somewhat by the 144,000.

It's the saddest and most wonderful time in Israel's history.

Have you considered Satan trying to destroy the church?

Where's your poll on - is Ezekiel 39:17-21 the same event of Revelation 19:17-18, 19:21 ?
