Archaelogists and historians study the history of civilizations. Most do not have an "evolutionary" bias. What they find contradicts the text of the bible if read in a literal way using the genealogies as reference. How does one YEC reconcile the flood happening 4300 yrs ago and the fact that history has no gaps all the way back 10,000 years?
For instance, Egyptian kings can be referenced at least 10,000 years ago. There is no blank time in that 10,000 yr period that would have been caused from the flood 4300 yrs ago.
