God is the creator of all things - that which is seen and cannot be seen.
By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at Gods command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen. (Heb 11:3)
I believe we tend to take this truth for granted. Lets really look at the BIG picture of creation:
That which is seen - Take a moment and look beyond your own individual life and see the beauty and magnificence of everything around that God has created which can be seen. Look at the universe. Right now, as you are reading this, the universe is STILL expanding at the speed of light. God said, Let there be light. and its creation has still not stopped growing yet.
Look at life under a microscope. Its absolutely amazing how intricate the details are that go into life as we know it. The DNA and RNA that make up our genes; the vitamins, minerals, and proteins that sustain life, the electrochemical energy that makes our minds work - It is completely mind-bobbling how incredible life really is and what makes it possible.
That which cannot be seen - Consider the fruits of the spirit: love, joy, peace, patience kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. These are powerful, spiritual forces that (can and should) govern our lives. They cannot be seen, yet they do exist and are clearly at work - especially in the lives of believers. But there are also other forces at work that cannot be seen. The laws of nature, just as one example, which govern everything we create and have created on earth (like automobiles and airplanes: life-saving medical equipment; radio, television and satellite transmission). All of the forces of nature are a part of and makeup all of creation.
For God is spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth. (Joh 4:24)
