Application fees!

As if college doesn't suck enough of our money out of our bank accounts, right?! I'm transferring next fall and soon I will be applying to the transfer school and the application fee is $40! I applied as a high school senior and was accepted, I'm hoping I can get a fee waiver. lol.

Just curious how much you guys had to pay (if anything at all) to submit an application. When you were seniors and applying to multiple schools did you spend a lot of money?

Transfer apps are normally about 40-60 bucks a school. I'm looking to apply to vet school next Fall and for that I will be looking at about $100 per school in application fees.

When I applied here, it was about $70. I applied to six places, and the cheapest was $35.

At least it's tax-deductible.

I'd like to return to school, and the ones I've checked on are $35 and $50 each.

the application fees are way too much! I spent over $150 applying this year, close to $200!!! Next year I'm planning on transferring to another school, but at least it's only one. hopefully I'll get in...

I only applied to schools that I knew I would go to. It was $40 for one school and $60 for another. Yeah, a definite "ouch."
