I like what Jane wrote here. I'm not a woman who is interested in how handsome a guy is - it's his heart, his communication, his sense of humor that attracts me. But I agree with the hygiene thing...

If the stuff you're looking for isn't there, hon, move on. Don't just settle. Ask me. I did for a long time and I was miserable.

I am a woman who will give a man a chance but if his conversation doesnt line up with the Will of God I am out! I have learned my lesson!!! I dont like a man with missing teeth however or who are really shorter than me I am 5'10.

I must admit, they have to be at least a little taller than me, i'm 5'4". After that, i'm open, given they are a Godly man.

It The choice of a spouse is one of the most important in life, so a person needs to consider the person fully.

True, true! I know God will do a bang-up job of choosing my spouse if I surrender that to Him. I keep forgetting to. :o

Yes my down fall was choosing a mate and not letting God choose my mate.

I think we all agree, the heart is most important, but what I was getting at was, if you meet someone who loves God, looks great on paper but they have four missing front teeth (or whatever is unattractive to you), what would you do?

If spirituality, or the lack thereof, was the only criteria for marriage I think most of us would be married by now.
