Apology

I apologize honestly if I have misled anyone here in thinking that Jesus is subject to Mary.

I do not think that he or any part of the trinity bows to her or worships her. What I said was taken out of context and it is my own fault that it was.

I know what I have given you all is meat and it is hard to digest, I should have better discerned what I said or how I said it.

For what it is worth I was saying it in the context of God coming to earth, humbling himself to be born of a woman where he was subject to his creation to provide for him his care. That is all.

I hope you all will forgive me for misleading and causing so much confusion.

No Jesus is not subject to her, I don't believe that.

When I think of Jesus as a infant I can almost understand your view. God had placed a lot of trust into Mary. I think that we too can trust her. But we must guard ourselves that trust does not turn into worship.

I am sorry too if I came on strong. I am use to debating Atheists and sometimes the gentle aproach does not work.

Thanks Stormy for understanding, that is all I meant that Jesus had to submit himself to her care as a child, but the child in Mary's arms is God. and you are right a false devotion would be if we worshipped her.

Dont worry about it. You are seeking truth, just like us. I think the key here is that you dont get caught up in devotion to Mary so that she becomes the focus.

Mary is here to help us.

I went to church tonight and prayed for understanding on this issue, so hopefully it will help us both!

I've read your posts and found them quite clear. You cannot prevent anyone from misunderstanding what you post. You did everything but stand on your head and yodel to make sure that you did not misrepresent things. I think you did a fine job. Some create stumbling blocks to themselves and you cannot do anything about them. Keep up the good work.
