To my Brothers and Sisters in Christ:
I post this to let you know that upon counseling with my priest, I realized I made a grievous error. During a debate with Matrona, I criticized the Metropolitan & Patriarch of the Antiochian Arch-Diocese, and I was WRONG to do this. I may disagree with them on certain subjects, but it is not my place to slander or publicly deride a shepherd or shepherds of our Church.
I repent of this, and ask forgiveness.
Having said this, I want to also add, that my priest approves of my stand regarding the Ecumenical Councils and Canons of the Church. I will continue to uphold these beliefs. I still desire to see a sub-forum for those of us who are traditional Orthodox. Mainly because I don't wish to debate these subjects constantly. I get angry, and anger is not a good thing for a Deacon of the Church, either during Great Lent, or otherwise.
Again, I ask forgiveness of you my brothers & sisters, and more especially my sister-in-Christ, Matrona.
