CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yeah, they're the cello quartet from Finland. Their Metallica covers are pretty amazing... They did another album of various metal covers (lots of Sepultura, IIRC) but I haven't heard it.blackwasp said:Isn't Apocalyptica the group of cellists that covers Metallica songs? Whether they are any religion, I do not know, but they are definitely something that is against Christ. In the song I'm not Jesus, they are totally saying the opposite of things in the bible. Matthew 6:14, Ephesians 4:31-32

That's not what I'm not Jesus is about, but go on. It's about a child who was abused by clergy members and the child growing up and taking back their life. Ive met these guys over a dozen times and regardless of what faith they practice, they are absolutely amazing human beings. Apocalyptica is not "the devil's music"
