This dream occurred probably about a year ago. In the dream I was walking and I saw several long lines of people standing by a building waiting for something. Anyway, as I passed them I was wondering what they were waiting for, but I didn't wait around to see. If I remember correctly, the sky suddenly grew very dark and there was a small bus with no wheels in the middle of a field with people in the bus. Well, I ran towards the bus and they let me in. I was the last person to enter the bus and at this point they closed the door to the bus for good and no other person was allowed to enter. Suddenly, fire began to fall from the sky and the people who were waiting in line were being burned and obliterated on the spot. Many of them tried to enter the bus to find refuge, but could not enter at this point. The bus was being thrown about from people trying to enter and from the fire hitting the ground with such force and frequency. But, the small bus was powerful enough to contain those inside and keep the fire from harming us. Suddenly it stopped and the sky grew still, but it was still dark. I remember leaving the bus, and all those people in the line were now gone. There wasn't even evidence of their bodies; the field was just empty. We all left the bus and went our separate ways. I entered a house with a family and their children. I stayed for a little bit (not really sure what my purpose of being there was) said goodbye and left the house...and that was the end of the dream. I'm not sure what that dream meant, but the Rapture came to mind. Only the LORD knows what he was trying to tell me, but I would love a few interpretations...THANKS for all replies and GOD BLESS!!! :)

Read Zephaniah 3. Here is a picture of God coming in judgment on Jerusalem yet protecting those who trust in the name of the Lord. I don't see the rapture in your dream because it looks as though you are still going through the tribulation but under the protection of the Almighty God so that his wrath will not harm you.

I believe that we will all go through this time of tribulation but that God promises protection for those who hide under his shelter and who put their trust in Him. That does not mean we will not suffer but that he will shelter us IN tribulation - sometimes he calms the storm and other times he calms his child. The Lord takes us THROUGH the storms of life but he doesn't always remove us from them. If we want his peace in the storms of life we must choose to rest in HIM.

I do believe you are dreaming about the tribulation and God's judgment to come during that time and perhaps this is both a promise of protection and a warning of what will happen to those who do not choose to come under the authority of God.

Thanks for sharing your dream. I've often wondered whether Judgement Day would be a day of fire, your dream essentially confirms it. (I've known for a long time that the sun will get hotter, but I wasn't sure if that would end mankind.)

I wonder what the bus represents... A real bus would not be any protection against the fire you talk about. Is it a metaphor for the body of Christ, perhaps?

I was just wondering, are you referring to the tribulation of the modern world (wars, trying to remain faithful in an unfaithful world, etc..) or the tribulation that is described in the book of Revelation?

I totally agree that the bus is indeed the body of Christ that is protecting us from the inevitable wrath of God. I am still wondering what the people in the long line were waiting for. I mean the bus was very small and could obviously not hold all of them. But, maybe the size of the bus had to do with the few of those who believe in Jesus Christ and the long lines were sinners who obviously didn't even pay attention to the bus until it was too late. I'm just happy I wasn't curious enough to join that line..LOL :).

I think both apply. We daily face trials, testings, etc. and God promises protection for those who hide in his shelter but he promises correction for those who don't. Obviously this will be on a much larger scale during the tribulation of the book of Revelation, but yes, I'm speaking of that, too. The true church will be sheltered from God's wrath, I believe, but I think it is through the storm, not out of the storm.

I do hate thoes apocalyptic dreams.

My end time dreams are less metaphorical and more litteral. Constantly being on the run from the faceless, black clad, machine gun toting, military types whos soul purpose is to capture or kill an surviving christians.

Your dream to me sounds like your faith is strong and you believe that you will be saved. You will survive while the lost souls are consumed and burned away. Horrible as it might sound your dream is a comforting one.

WOW, swill8295 you have just taken my breath away. I knew that my fellow sisters and brothers in CHRIST would help with my dream. I know in the dream that the LORD's protection was him telling me how happy he was with how I live my life and that is why I was protected from his wrath.

No! You are saved under the power of Christ alone because he loves you and sought you out first, not because of how you lived your life. There are plenty of "good" people who won't be spared. The only power you have is to accept the Lord's sacrifice and allow it to influence your future decisions.

You are absolutely right, and thank you for correcting meand pointing out that it is God's grace that keeps me, not by my own doing.

Please disregard my interpretation. I have just recently realized how bad what I did was. I didn't quite realise what I was getting into until it was too late. My own heart deceived me. Whether the interpretation is correct or not, I don't know. It doesn't matter how true it feels to me. Please don't take it to heart, only focus on the word of Jesus Christ, and that only. Don't let anyone try to interpret your dreams for you. There are deceiving spirits everywhere that ruin peoples lives. Look at what it cost Saul to talk to a witch. Please pray to the Lord for help, and don't ask people for interpretations.
