If you like Christian fiction like the Dante's Inferno game this seems great. It's made by Japanese who know very little about Judaism and Christianity but that makes the take totally fresh and with beautiful visuals cel shaded like Muramasa or Okami.
It's based on the Book of Watchers of the dead sea scrolls, an apocryphal book written in 300BC based on the life of Enoch. It records a lot of controversial and heretical things about fallen angels marrying humans.
Half of the game is platforming through a precursor tower of babel where you play Enoch (the Metatron, which is essentially the stenographer of God as he was the first man taught the written language in the Talmud) having returned from Heaven to face fallen angels who sought to be worshipped as God and who gave technology to early man such as swords and armor and things for war. The other half is battling these fallen angels in an attempt to get mankind to return to God and prevent the great flood. Obviously you fail and Lucifel betrays you and God but the journey there is full of gorgeous surreal beauty and an astounding post modern take on Pre flood Sumeria and heaven and hell.
