Anyone see the npr.com piece on titanium rings?

This piece is causing quite a stir in the comments section due to the photo of a marriage between two men that was used to illustrate it. It took me by surprise, but it probably shouldn't have. We will definitely see more and more of this. President Harrison is writing some very good essays on what Christians should expect to experience in society in the future.

Titanium is a strange metal; tough, light and strong. When you grind titanium, it sparks with intense heat and a lot of light:

Do you remember Super Dave Osborne? When ever a stunt went wrong (and they always did) and Super Dave ended up skidding down the pavent on his head/belly/butt, and there was a huge shower of sparks; that was titanium skids fastened to the stunt dummy.

I got a titanium wedding ring when I got married (to a woman because every other metal I've used tended to make the skin under it on me break out. So far so go with titanium
