there are on average about 121 games played all the time on XBconnect if you are into Halo.

It is a free server that allows you to play ANY multiplayer game for xbox online. that includes Halo 1. You need a router in order for it to work though. All you do is download the free program from the site (I don't have 50 posts yet so I can't put the site down but it is essentially typical address xbconnet dot com) then plug in your xbox to your router. It is very easy to navigate but it is a little difficult getting a game going every now and then. The only problem is that not too many people know about it so advertising it to your friends would help a lot.
You can download the pro version of the program for like 20 bones and all it does is add a few perps. It is nice for those boycotting X-Live.

well I like Xbox live but is XBC legal?
but if it is well Halo 2 will be coming out on Xbox live so hu needs halo 1 online?
cant you wait for NOV 9 and I for one Think you should have to pay for Xbox
live to do Xbox online but for games that you cant do online well do XBC but not for Halo 2.

Why wouldn't it be legal? Your not modifying the system in any fashion and your infringing any copyright. It is just a free server where gamers can interact with each other and without having to pay a retarded amount to play a video game online.

I use Xbox Live, and it's worth the $8CAD a month.
No lag, Voice support in every game with online play, good sized community (lots of people to play with, depending if the game is any good) and a friends list... What's wrong with XBL again?
XBC on the other hand is laggy, but that's my only issue with it.. It's a doozie though.
