Anyone looking for accountability partners?

I am posting this thread because I have been struggling privately with sin in things including sexuality (and many others areas).

In the past I have tried to deal with it but even if it isn't getting worse, it isn't getting better either.
Today, I decided that I will take my repentence more seriously since I need to repent for God to forgive me. Some people suggest that it helps when groups of two+ christians keep each other honest, confess to each other, mutual prayer, and support each other but this is difficult for me because I want to be anonymous (I have difficulty opening myself up to people I know).

I'm looking for someone (or some people) who might be interested something like this. If there are any of you who who want something similar, please leave me a note.

I don't know whether it is appropriate for me to post this thread here. If it isn't please offer suggestions of where I should go. Please be patient with me, I am new to these forums.

I've never really known about APs before, they sound like a good idea. Two Chrisitans really would help keep each other on track, its hard to just reason with your own mind, you need to have another righteous person listening, understanding and responding.

My advice? Find someone your age of the same sex. That's what works the best. My accountability partner is churchpunk86. She lives near me and goes to my church. We help each other out as much as we can.

I too am interested. Not so much am I tempted in areas of sexuality as in porn. Back in the day I used to visit a number of prostitutes as well, but lately that has not been an issue. Still, I could see it becoming one again under certain circumstances.

Let's all help each other resist, well... Satan. This is a wonderfull thread and a great idea, in my opinion.

Hi, I can understand your situation, as I have been in the same position. I still struggle with sexuality issues from time to time. If there is anything I can do, please let me know, feel free to pm me. I am from Australia, so we can't be more anonymous than that.
