  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

i dont c why everyone like mice more when i compared the 2 and found they r stupider, smellier, more easily frightened, and only live one year when rats come to their name, only males stink (unless neutered), they live to be 3-5 years, love to be held, cuter, and r overall the best rodent u could ever think of:) GO RATS!
The same could be said about Rats. Why have a Rat when you can have a Dog or a Spider that'll live longer, smell better, more intelligent, etc. But I love Mice and Rats. Have you ever had a Mice?? They are not stupid. I have Cows so I guess that's why I like Mice. Most people consider Cows as being stupid and all when Cows are very intelligent and love to play if they are given a chance.

I love rats only thing is that they are fast breeders. I had a rat that escaped from her cage somehow and wound up pregnant. She had 15 babies and a year later I had like around 32 rats including babies and a pet black racer that I caught in my Mom's bathroom.

Ooopsy, Back on Topic, my room-mate has a rat named Peter die a week ago. Peter was so sweet, he would go to sleep in your lap. He also liked to take showers with my room-mate to. It was sad the night he died, I cried. It's also sad he only lived three years! Can they live longer than 3 years at all?!

Blessings, \o/

I have rats. I love them. There is nothing to compare them too in the pet world. I know a lady who is involved in squirrel rescue who has also owned pet rats, and she said the only animal that is similar in temperment to a rat is a tame squirrel. I love it! Squirrels are so cool. It does my heart good to think that a squirrel is as wonderful as a rat. Rats are sociable, affectionate, curious, and incredibly gentle. There is always such a thing as a bad egg. Just look at how some people are very bad tempered. Some rats can be biters but they are not the norm. Most rats are very gentle and sweet. I have told God all about my gratitude for him to bless even the smallest, most despised animal with so many virtues.

I used to have a rat named Alison. She was so smart that I could let her run around my apartment as much as she wanted. Whenever somebody came to the door she would run to the door to see who it was and if they had food she would run up their leg. When I ate cereal at the coffee table in the mornings she would sit on the table and eat the cereal right along with me. When I brought her outside she would follow me everywhere I went. She was very affectionate. Her cage wasn't very good so when I put her in it at night to go to bed she would just get right back out and I would wake up with her cuddled up on my chest or right on my neck under my chin.
