CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My sons rat died from tumors as well, I think that cancer is common in rats......

My brother used to have 5 rats, they were cute, but the "mother" was just mean she woudl bite all the time......but they are cool to have

Rats and mice...Don't think soooooooo I'll stick with my two little dogs.. lol My Mini Schnauzer and Jack Russell Terrior...plus..Schnauzers can't stand rats.....they are rat chasers..so you see they wouldn't last at my home... lol

i am dying to get a pet rat. i want a brown one and i am going to name him cinnamon. one of my favorite books is Stargirl by Jerri Spinelli and she had a borwn rat named cinnamon. i loved the idea.

I have fourteen rats at the moment! I always have a lot. There my favorite type of pet besides snakes.

i dont c why everyone like mice more when i compared the 2 and found they r stupider, smellier, more easily frightened, and only live one year when rats come to their name, only males stink (unless neutered), they live to be 3-5 years, love to be held, cuter, and r overall the best rodent u could ever think of GO RATS!

I love rats! We got a rat from the pet shop a few months ago and she ended up being pregnant so now we have 3 We have 2 mice too. I love rodents! They're sooo cute
