CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Im really into DMB. I have only heard a few Jack Johnson songs, enjoyed listening to them.

yeah fridge, i got them too. The soundtrack aint that good, there's only like 3 songs from jack, and 2 from g.love. Its a decent surf dvd tho

Love DMB, Jack Johnson... the whole lot of them
Unfortunatly, no DMB for me this year (Getting married in 6 months- However I am seeing U2 on the last stop of their NA Tour on Dec 19th
). I was at teh Gorge last year. It quite rocked my world Haven't seen Jack Johnson in concert yet- This whole getting married thing is screwing up my summer concert agenda (but totally worth it hon

the thicker than water soundtrack is one of my favorite cd's. i consider it to be on the same level as jack's albums.
i especially like Underwater Love by Smoke City.

dont get me wrong, its not bad. i just dont like some of the songs on there, as opposed to jacks albums where i love every song. i mean, thicker than water has some awesome songs, like rainbow, and haha i love hobo blues.
