CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I listened to AC/DC for a while in high school; I'd say I was more into the early stuff with Bon Scott-- High Voltage, Let There Be Rock, Highway to Hell, etc....

mmmm yes I agree, great band, very successful, fantastic music, sad history (background and bon scott's death)...but from a christian perspective, I find the lyrics highly questionable 'highway to hell' etc...
would do better to avoid them, not in an extreme 'conservative' manner, but to be aware that Satan moves through us all, particularly in music. If the lyrics are questionable...I'd strongly avoid being exposed to that.

Rock n Roll Aint noize pollution
I grew up on that stuff. Before imports were even popular here in the Seattle area, I had some friend from Australia bring me 5 copies of the Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheep album. It had two song that the US version never had.
