Anyone know how Billy Graham is doing?

Hi, I don't watch tv, very little radio and don't surf the net, but read here on cf he had broken his hip.

Was wondering if anyone has an update on how he's doing.

That's good to know! I imagine his hip was replaced since he broke it, though don't know, but so now he will be rehabbing from that.

I hope his spirits are good, just losing his wife, must all be very difficult.

hey u don't always need a replacement for a broken hip.

i actually have a friend who is around the same age as Billy, and he fell and broke his hip earlier in the year. it's a long road to recovery, and you have to do a lot of resting up - but it gradually gets better.

may lead to a replacement further along, but not instantaniously.

can i say i find it heart warming that amongst all the other stuff people post on here... you hear about and care enough to come in an inquire about someone you probably never have met.

Billy Graham has had quite a lot of influence in my life. I've read many books about him, some by him, and what an awesome example of humility, love for all humans regardless of their faith or non faith, love for God; and he always felt he should have done more with his life, and last book I read was well over 10 years ago.

His wife an awesome woman as well, basically raising the kids alone, and they all messed up, but all did turn around and have various ministries.

I just thank God for such a wonderful example to the world and also that God let me live in the same lifetime.

I guess each person's lifetme has someone they admire a lot..and I sure admire him, and pray for him and his family.
