Anyone just a little bit concerned about tomorrow, 6/6/06???

Are you even a little bit concerned about tomorrow, 6/6/06??? The date has three sixes in it, and it even said on the news that there are many women in their last trimester of pregnancy worried about giving birth on that day because of the anti-Christ and the symbol given to him in the scriptures. What do you think and why?

All those dates passed without any hoopla. There's absoultely zero scriptural basis for thinking anything of the date, nor is there any historical basis. It's nothing more than a twinge of mass paranoia, hyped by marketing people who know how to get us in a twist.

Yeah, i agree there is nothing significant about the date. But, Just because of the hype by mass media, I wouldn't want to saddle my baby with that birthdate, either. Some kids can be so mean to their peers.

Why are we as Christians so scared of everything? It means nothing. Actually the mark of the beast number is 666 OR 616. It's not certain.

hadnt even given it a thought....nope Im not worried about it....but in all honesty I would not want to have kid born on that date....not that I think the kid would be bad or have to deal with any more evil in his or her life then any other kid has, as we know that when we train our children up in the way they should go they will not depart from it!!!! however kids can be cruel and I would not want my kid to have to deal with that!!!

06/06/06 or 06/01/06 if you feal that dates are important who nows. But for me tomorrow is come and I'm planning to go on as if its is another day that God has made for me. Also future mother trying to hold the birthing of until the following day is stuid. God gave that child. So they feel that god will birth a baby into world that will cost million of soul.

It's hard to believe that anyone would pay any heed to the 666 date hogwash. After all, scripture even points out that 666 is the mark of a man, not a date in whatever your current calendar system is. Which incidentally isn't even the one in use when John wrote Revelation.

But then again, I've seen Christians who refuse to post the number "666" in counting games in the rec forum. Go figure....

I have the series, but you can bet i'm not going to go out and buy it tomorrow.

I'm taking the day as all the others. As someone said, what do Christians have to fear? We know what side we're on and we know who to turn to if something did happen tomorrow. However, I would bet my $$$ that it doesn't.

Honestly, I have fixed feelings about Revelations. I don't doubt it's the truth, but in what manner? Is it the exact literal truth, or is it a spiritual riddle we aren't meant to decipher yet? Could this be information we need to know for when we go for our Judgements after death? Or is this what the Judgement after death is like? So many possiblities, and each allows it to still be the truth.
