CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I record bird calls with my camera. I'm amazed how sensitive the function is and the quality of the recordings.

I'm not involved with recording but have run a post-production CD business for almost 20 years. (design, graphics, replication, printing and packaging) I've worked with many excellent recording studios, and though I know little about the actual recording process I do know that ultimately Mastering is the key to a quality album. I'm sure there are a few sites on recording where gear, methods, and such are discussed.

Over the years I've worked on a number of unique projects. I did a project for the State of Georgia... 97 frog vocalizations. (Initial run of 1,000 but months later they reordered another 1,000 ...who knew)

In 2014 I used Screenflick for Mac, to record four full yahoo streaming concerts.
Did have Lily Allen, but now deleted it.
Did have Drive By Truckers, but now deleted it.
Both these I have shared on the internet, just for fun.
Still got Richard Marx, great show, classic guy.
Still got Taking Back Sunday, some really great songs they have.
Also in the last 10 years have been trading ROIOs internationally
Other people's concert audience recordings and sharing on some music torrent sites.
That's about it.
