Anyone here like horses?

Hi guys (and gals)!
I was just wondering if there were any horse fanatics around here. I sure am (like you couldn't tell from my username. LOL) Somebody's already posted this probably....if so sorry!

Horses are awesome!!! I love horses. I work at a stable in exchange for riding.

I work at a stable in exchange for riding too ! I love it. I want to do something with horses as a career......just not sure what yet. I'm not that advanced yet, only been taking for about a year or less, but I've loved horses a lot longer than that.

Do you ride English or Western? I prefer Western, and I also like bareback riding.

I like western . It's a lot more comfortable in my opinion. I like bareback riding too!!

I've ridden occasionally since I was 13, but I didn't start riding regularly (about once a week) until last spring when I started working at the stable. Although I didn't ride much during the winter; too much snow. The stable doesn't have an indoor arena.

I work at shows passing out ribbons in exchange for lessons. Just worked one big one today.

To answer the question, yes I adore them. I ride English.

Horses are the best! I love them so much. I have two of my own. I love them to death. I ride Western and bareback. Bareback is so much fun.

The owner os the stable where I'm volunteering (long story) went to a conference recently here in NC. She learned a LOT, and is now training us to do it.

I do, it's great. The stable has an equine therapy program for physically and mentally challenged kids and adults. We need the horses to be as calm and immune to their surroundings as possible. Parelli does it.

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't posted in a while....been sick with the chicken pox (in the worst stage of em' right now....*scratch scratch* ). Anyhoo, I'm glad there are some more horse fans out there ! I like the Parelli stuff too. 2 of my friends are doing it with their horses (I don't have one of my own), and it's going great for them!

Parelli? lol, I don't ride much, (yet) and the horses aren't supposed to be ridden till may. oh well.
