There is this non-denominational church we've been thinking of attending. But it says on the website & on the church sign "a Cornerstone church". Does anyone know firsthand what a "Cornerstone" church is. I tried to Google it, it still doesn't give me the info I need. I emailed the church & didn't hear back.

The only thing I can think of is that the church you're thinking of attending is in communion or fellowship with Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, TX which is pastored by John Hagee. Any of this sound familiar?

Because a church has the word "Cornerstone" in it doesn't mean it's "a Cornerstone church". There are thousands across the country that have the name Cornerstone as part of the church name, but that's not what I'm referring to. Thanks though for your help.

I attended a cornerstone church in Arizona once it was a four square gospel but as you stated it could be very different and unrelated to the one I attended or John Hagee’s

I think the best thing is to check it out ……….If you don’t want to check it by attending you could find out when the services are, or more precisely when they end, and be in the parking lot at that time. Ask God who to speak to and question them on the Church. Just tell them you’re thinking about attending and would like some information on it. They may even agree to take you as a guest if you’re interested.

The only Cornerstone I know is John Hagee's in San Antonio, TX...

I attended the church once a long time ago. It's nothing like John Hagee's church in TX. Like I said, there are lots of churches that have the name "Cornerstone" in them, which doesn't mean it's a Cornerstone church. I found something about Cornerstone churches on line. It had something about missions & starting churches & cell groups in several areas overseas & in the US.
