Note to the reader: I had originally considered keeping the interpretation of this dream private since it relates to how believers treat one another online, and even at this Forum. But I thought it was important enough to post it anyway. It's not a slam against CF or any Christian Forum. It's simply a warning of what the typical believer will need to be aware of when they begin interacting with others online. This was addressed to Cowwy privately, but is relevant to the life of virtually any believer, and especially younger, less experienced ones.
First Vision - Where are you?
On the Job - First Stop
I dropped off someone at a place that appeared to be an airport, but it looked more like an indoor concert or a theater. The passenger appeared to be a kid who is carrying a large bag in a shape of a musical instrument.
When the first passenger got off, the second passenger jumped in. This person was being problematic, I cannot start my trip because he is waiting for someone else. Generously annoyed, I tolerated the wait time. After some time, no one came in and I over heard the passenger on a phone that the people were not ready.
Out of frustration, I drove off and set off to the destination that seemed to be an airport which is not far away. The passenger wasn't bothered that I left his friends behind so I continued driving. The passenger appeared to be Asian, hip pop looking with a obnoxious vibe to him.
I forgot what he did, but he was being extremely obnoxious. I had to threaten his behavior by punishing him with a 1 star rating because that is the only way that I know he would get the message. (Star rating system is an Uber internal system that a driver gives at the end of a ride to determine the passenger's quality.) He pleaded that I shouldn't.
I arrived near the drop off location, it looks like somewhere in a large city. I saw the map and I don't recognize the street structure to be of any resembling in my own city. Instead of driving the rest of the way, we got off the car and began to walk together. At this point, I just want to get away from this person since it is Friday I could be doing more productive things. (In the dream, I get the idea it is Friday. But is not actual Friday.)
We went through tight streets and finally arrived at his destination. A dark street with a few large houses, some houses have the lights on. The guy said this place might not be it, he demanded me to stay put while he go look. But I didn't care and simply start walking back. As I was leaving, he noticed that no one is at home where he wanted to go. He told me to go back to the car and pick him up here. Which I completely ignored him at this point.
Interpretation:
For starters, your Uber service here is not about the job you do in the natural. This is about your service to God in trying to "transport" people to a better place spiritually as a Christian. These are people you will interact online with, such as on Facebook and here at CF.
Person You Drop Off at an Indoor Concert or Theater = A visitor to an online Forum, whom you welcome, and who is simply coming because of the entertainment involved in social media at places like this. Hence he is carrying an instrument. He wishes to be entertaining himself (Make jokes, add his own input to discussions, etc). He also "appeared to be a kid," and this is more often why kids (i.e. spiritual children in the Lord) will join sites like this. They think it will be fun, but unfortunately do not realize that they are also entering a spiritual battlefield.
Annoying and Problematic Passenger, Waiting For "Friends" = Ok, this is a different sort of "Christian" or person you will eventually get involved with online. An obnoxious and annoying kind of person who is "waiting for friends." We also have many atheists, homosexuals, Muslims and even Satanists that get involved in conversations here at CF, as well as on Facebook, and they tend to come to one another's defense in debates on contentious issues. That they are "waiting for friends" can also suggest that these types of people don't often HAVE many real friends, precisely because they are so obnoxious to people. This is probably why he wasn't very bothered that you simply took off with him. He didn't really like his "friends" all that much anyway.
Out Of Frustration = Ok, here is the first warning sign that you need to be careful of. You, like me and like many other Christians, naturally have a bit of a temper, but you very much need to watch out for this, especially
online. The reason is because Satan is going to try to get under your skin with people and make you VERY angry. This is what the end of the dream is about. Satan will try and suffocate you and choke you out (spiritually) through a spirit of anger over the way others treat you.
The Passenger Appeared Asian, Hip Pop Looking, Obnoxious = Being Asian yourself, you might naturally gravitate towards other Asians, and maybe even younger people of Chinese descent if and when you meet them. It appears Satan may set you up especially through people of your own race or a similar race and background.
"Uber Rating System/ Threatening To Rate Him 1 Star" = CF, as well as other social media sites have systems in place to file complaints against others who are being really nasty and obnoxious, and the fact that he will plead with you not to do that means that he will not want to get banned from the website. A lot of people have gotten banned from this website, most only temporarily, but some have recently gotten banned permanently for exactly what we are talking about: Rudeness and obnoxiousness toward other Forum members.
Drop Off Location/ Could Be Doing More Productive Things = Whenever you get into angry debates with other people/ believers on issues, this is what if feels like. The Spirit of God begins to warn you that you are wasting time, and could be doing something more productive spiritually. You feel like you want to drop the issue, but the obnoxious person keeps making you angrier, and "taking you places you don't want to go." As a younger believer yourself, it feeling like "Friday" means that you too would rather be doing something more FUN than getting upset. Friday is before the weekend, so if you're not going to be productive at least you should be enjoying yourself, not arguing and getting upset with someone over religious issues.
He Demanded/ Told You What To Do/ Insisted On Being Picked Up = This is how obnoxious people will behave, and also how the spirit of anger works. It will
demand that you respond. It will TELL you you need to answer the latest nasty question. It will insist that you pick up a contentious argument again. It wants to KEEP you involved with it, so that all your time serving God gets wasted on it. Satan will try to use many, many people online to tempt you to fall for this trick. I see it happen all the time, especially on things like political issues which people discuss here all the time. They have not learned the tactics of the Devil, so they fall for a deception and begin serving Satan instead of God (Ephesians 4:26-32).
Guilty Plead
I was unwilling and walked back to the car myself. When I got back, I ended the trip on the application immediately because I don’t want this guy to call me back. Out of muscle memory, I gave this obnoxious guy a 5 star rating.
Suddenly, my phone rang. Unease about it, I answered. It was the obnoxious guy and I don't know how he could have called me since my obligation to drop him off had ended. He asked me where I am, he urges me to go pick him up and he even tries to bargain with me that he is willing to give up his phone. But I remain silent the whole conversation.
I made up my mind that I would not go. I looked at my phone and found that I wasn't able to hang up the call. Couldn't figure out why, so I remained silence hoping that he would hang up himself.
Unwelcome Visit
Behold, I am now in my room. My phone is still with me as I was going to bed. When I was shuffling my blanket, the phone spoke. It was that guy again. He mentioned something about being in a city. (The same city that I lived in.) Then I told him that I was really far away, I won't be able to pick him up. In a sarcastic tone, he replied "You are in a city??!!"
Out of arrogance, I said "Yea~~ that's where I live". And I didn't hear from him again. This time, I shut down my phone.
As I was laying down on my bed, I saw a screen appeared in my bedroom that looked like a iPad on the wall. It turned on by itself. I thought it was my phone that is restarting, but the dimension of it seem too large also my phone is on the ground.
Who are you?!
Suspicious of what it is, I went up to it and examined the screen. Then I felt an evil presence entered me, it began to strangle me and I resisted. I rebuked the spirit and commanded it to let go, but it wouldn't. So I called to Jesus because my physical breathing is slowly getting cut off, but I kept up the fight.
Since my last spiritual attack, I became more bold in my speech, so I commanded this entity to reveal itself. And my eyes felt like something was removed and I saw a grotesque pitch-black figure that looked like a melted alien. But I didn't get to see the face.
Then I remembered from my previous vision I had the golden shining eyes. I saw a small faint light in front of me. The dream ended.
Muscle Memory = It is the habit of true Christians to forgive, often because the Holy Spirit continually
reminds us that we must.
Obnoxious Man Even Tries To Bargain With You = This is another tactic you will see in use. Once you try to distance yourself from them, they start trying whatever trick they can to get in contact with you again, even making promises to "do this" or "do that."
But You Remain Silent The Whole Conversation = This is very good, and it shows wisdom on your part. This means you will not naturally fall for this deception, so Satan will soon have to resort to what happens in "Unwelcome Visit."
Not Able To Hang Up = This is EXACTLY what happens online. You want them to just shut up but they won't, and you can't stop them. It's like you want the conversation to end, but they just keep posting and posting and posting, and antagonizing you, and continuing to be annoying with every word they post, and tempting you and tempting you over and over again to respond. You can't stop it.
Guy Calls You At Home/ Sarcastic Tone/ Wants Personal Information = This is where it gets really nasty, and trust me this really happens. It happened to me recently as a matter of fact. They will send you private conversations and start asking you personal questions. What they are doing is digging for dirt, on you, on your friends, on what you personally believe, all sorts of things. Again, this is Satan trying to force you to STAY in a very strife-filled relationship with someone who is making you angry, so that you will remain caught up in anger, and be hindered from truly serving God.
If you'd like I can show you some quotes from private conversations with a long-standing member I had recently, who did indeed did
exactly these same things I was just talking to you about. It's disturbing.
Shut Down Your Phone = Cut off all communication with this individual, privately and publicly.
Examine iPad /
Evil Presence Enters You = Because you no longer want any communication with the person or people Satan is using, he has one last trick up his sleeve. The people he was using will STILL be posting on the Forum, or Facebook, or wherever you are online. And Satan will draw your eyes to how they are
continuing to post nasty and insulting and obnoxious things and getting away with it. This is when Satan will move with his strongest attack to enrage you, and make you feel even deeper anger and rage against the people he keeps using to sin against you and others.
Physical Breathing Getting Cut Off = Your "breathing" here speaks of the Holy Spirit, and demons of anger, hatred and rage will seek to cut you off from that Spirit.
Became More Bold In Speech/ Commanded the Presence to Identify Itself = By praying, the Spirit of God will eventually rise up within you, and take authority over the spirit of anger.
Your Eyes Felt Like Something Was Removed = The Spirit of God revealing to you what specific demonic presence has been trying to seduce you all along (anger, bitterness, resentment).
Grotesque Pitch-Black Figure/ Melted Alien = Pitch-Black speaks of burning and fire, and melted speaks of intense Heat. The spirits of anger create a type of burning rage within you. In English, we use expressions like "seething with rage," or "burning with anger."
Golden Shining Eyes = According to you, this is something positive, and I can see why now. You have had your eyes opened in this dream to see the spirit trying to seduce and then attack you. So golden eyes represent eyes that have been opened by God to see the truth.
Small Faint Light In Front Of You = This one is interesting, but I believe it represents the faint hope that the person Satan had been using to make you angry would still get saved or repent, so you choose to focus on this instead of the evils they have done to you.
