Sweetlamb I am still trying to figure out why you are headed this direction... are you coming here solo, or with family and what are the reasons for coming to the GVRD, because that right there could help US help YOU decide what to do while you are here!

By the way, I know your gonna be here on a sunday, if you'd like to come to church with my husband and me you are welcome to do so since we won't be far from you. Our church is in the downtown, we go by car. Non-denominational.

As for what there is to do at night, I asked my husband and he said:
him: "Drinking, clubbing..."
me: "They're Christians!"
him: "Oh.. then, nothing! Sleep!"

rofl. anyway, whatever you do back home I'm sure we have it. Movies and dinner are all I can think of because thats all we ever do, lol. SilverCity is the better theatre at Metrotown, Station Square has less movies. There is a new paramount theatre downtown but I haven't been there yet.

There is a Red Robins next to metrotown, I like to eat at red robins. Pretty busy on weekend nights.

My husband also says "pool, and the arcade" *shrugs*. Vancouver is like any other city, heh. Bordeom Just in larger quantities of boredom, lol.

Walk around the downtown I suppose, heh. Drive through stankey park if you had a car...

I'll ask my friend what she wants to do and about going to church, I wont ditch her if she doesnt want to. I was I was staying longer!

Hey you are going to a MUSICAL! That s more than what I am doing! You could both go and check out a band playing - we have loads of small music clubs ( and lots of dance clubs too if thats your thing)... you could go to Science World - hehehe, and run around like kids.
Go to Lonsdale Quay (you get off the skytrain at its last stop at Waterfront and take the seabus directly from there using your daypass for translink, it takes you straight there, very easy.) - I live near the New west Quay but that one is boring...go to lonsdale instead
