Has anyone experienced this/would be willing to share their experience/give advice?

You know sometimes we has humans try and find life on our own terms. You know how God has a way of bringing that to a halt so that you turn to Him and him alone? I am experiencing such right now, and while I know that it's painful right now... it's for the best.. and it's only bringing closer to Him. If anyone even semi-understands what i'm talking about... has gone thru a trial in their life to where something amazing has been stopped.. or put on hold... what happens after? Any input is immensely appreciated. Thank you for your time.

I've gone through something similar; I had a good relationship with a good guy, but it wasn't exactly what God wanted. I had to put a stop to it, and it was the hardest thing I've ever done. I'm still feeling the pain from it. But, like you said, the pain brings growth and closeness to God, and I'm fixing things in my life that will lead to a much better relationship in the future; I'm sure of that.

I wouldn't know this feeling. All I can say is this: Life moves. We can move with it if we want to.
