wouldn't let them use anything with the word virus in it? I cannot use my antivirus software, I cannot do a search on search engines if I use the word virus, I cannot even open a document if it uses the word virus. Needless to say, this makes it very hard to get rid of the thing. Anyone have any idea of what I can do to fix this?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

No idea at all. Sounds very odd, and I've never heard of anything like it.
You will probably need some kind of computer geek to come over with a bootable CD and fix things that way.

yeah we got it on our church's computer... but didnt worry us as we upgraded everything the next day!! lol i have no idea what it was, but if you cant find a way to get rid of it, i would back up all of your important stuff, and format, and reinstall everything.. very time consuming, but may be the only way..
