Does anyone remember his former mistress who got a PFA on him?

Was her name Cindy?

I read about it, but didnt save the story.

He was abusive....but not one person looked at her testimony and considered MS did this to Terri. :crossrc:

This man is a menace to society, and when it happens to Jody Centonze, will the press then and the others consider maybe he actually did do this to Terri.

Because this tombstone shows he is not all there upstairs.

The tombstone almost looks like a last "shot" at those who disagreed with him...

As "controlling" as he is, you bet it was meant (not only as a statement to vindicate what he did) but as another "twist the knife" in the hearts of the Schindlers.

"Departed this earth" in 1990? Uh--that missing 911 report and that bone scan seem to indicate that that was the intention (didn't Terri have her hair done that day? And didn't she confide to her friend that it was very expensive and that she hoped it wouldn't "make Michael mad"?) And "beloved wife", who is he kidding? He was already "stepping out on her" in the mid-90s when he took the common law wife. (Can we say "bigamist"?) All that tombstone does is question his motives for the experimental surgery he had done on poor Terri in the early 90s. (If she had already "departed this earth" one has to wonder why it was done at all and why he told the court, at the malpractice suit, that he planned to take care of Terri for the rest of her NATURAL life? Oh, I forgot, it was before the "affair".)

Poor Terri. Lied about even in death.

That's OK....because God made a promise, too, and when Mr. Shaivo makes his appearance before God that promise will be fullfilled too. And there won't be a camera in sight to record the event.

God will fix it all in the end.

Was it the last word? He could have done it to provoke them, so they would keep the battle alive even now that she is gone.

Lest we forget.....Michael had affairs immediately after her....collapse. :o

Michael Schiavo's former girlfriend speaks:

Excerpts From Cyndi Shook

Hyscience: Saturday, February 12, 2005

http://hyscience.typepad.com
/hyscience/2005/02/michael_schiavo_1.html

In a previous Hyscience post, Carole Lieberman, M.D., M.P.H.,
Psychiatrist and expert medical witness, and the author of the book,
Bad Boys: Why We Love Them, How to Live with Them
and When to Leave Them, was quoted as saying,
"I have studied men who exhibit pathology in their
relationships with women. Profiles of the twelve different
types of bad boys are explained. Michael Schiavo fits the profile,
described in the book as the Prince of Darkness (see chapter 13).
O.J. Simpson was cited as a classic example of this type,
and there are indeed similarities between the two men.
It is especially significant to note that O.J. flew into
a homicidal rage when he realized that Nicole was totally
abandoning him, as is characteristic of these impulsive men who
most dread being abandoned by their woman. Similarly, Michael Schiavo
was likely to have known that Terri had begun making plans to divorce him,
since she had told a coworker and family member. Stalking is
characteristic of this type of man, as well. And a girlfriend
of Michael’s, Cindy, accused him of stalking her in 2001."

This is the story of "Cindy," and the deposition that she had
to be forced to give, out of her fear of Michael Schiavo.
Terri was also afraid of Michael, but of course Michael
has been hard at work to make sure that she can't give a
deposition as Cindy has!

In late 1991, 1½ years after Terri’s collapse, Michael Schiavo
became involved in an intimate relationship with Cindy Shook.
The romance continued for approximately one year. It can be
documented that the two spent a weekend at the Don Caesar hotel
in St. Petersburg Beach and they also contacted a Century 21
Realtor on the premise of purchasing a home.

In May of 1992, at the apex of the romance, Schiavo
had Terri’s 2 pet cats euthanized to clear the way
for his moving in with Cindy and her pet dog.

In the summer of 1992, Schiavo moved into his parent’s home.
We can speculate with reasonable accuracy, it was
at the instructions of his attorney, since the
living arrangement would be contrary to Schiavo’s
"loving husband" image they were projecting for the
upcoming November 1992 malpractice trial.

In April 2001, Cindy Shook (married name Brasher)
was interviewed by an investigator working in Terri’s behalf.
Unwilling to come forward because of her immense fear of Schiavo,
Cindy had to be subpoenaed and was then subsequently deposed
on May 8, 2001 to try and learn more regarding her intimate
knowledge of Michael Schiavo’s character traits.

Excerpts; May 8, 2001 Deposition:

Cindy Shook describing Schiavo’s possessiveness.

"he’s very jealous. He stalked me at my…at where I worked after
I stopped dating…when he would get mad at me he would tell me,
I would rather be laying in bed in the nursing home
with her than with you. I mean he can be the most
incredibly mean person"

When asked if she were afraid that Michael would physically harm her
or if he would harm children.

"I am concerned about retaliation because I have a child -
I have children and a husband. I know him, I know what he
told me I said he could be a very mean person."

She spoke of how Schiavo stalked her for close to
a year after the breakup and that she received repeated phone calls.

"He came on the floor looking for me several times. I felt it was out
of character for him to get a job as an orderly at the hospital.
That was concerning to me. When he would come up to the
floor looking for her she was not scared the first time
but later was scared.

In town I would look up when I was driving…not at my work-
she would look up in the rear view mirror and there would
be Michael Schiavo. I would look up and he would be behind me in traffic.
It continued for several months after he didn’t work
at the hospital. She would change lanes, try to make a
turn and he would do the same. He did this about ten times.

One time he was behind me in traffic he got next to me in
a two-lane going the same way, and he changed lanes basically
right on top of where I was at, and I had to swerve not to be hit.
I had to swerve off the road. Michael ran me off the road. I
considered it as stalking, dangerous and guessed potentially
life threatening."

Cindy thought about getting a restraining order. She talked
to an off duty police officer in her building

They discussed marriage. She said Schiavo asked what
would you do if I asked you to marry me. He never
discussed getting a divorce.

Cindy said Schiavo got angry when asked questions about Terri
saying:

"this had destroyed his life and he was being robbed of a normal life."

Regarding Terri’s care, according to Cindy Shook, Michael Schiavo said,

"How the hell should I know we never spoke about this, my God I was only
25 years old. How the hell should I know? We were young.
We never spoke of this."

THEY NEVER SPOKE OF THIS! Yet now Michael claims that Terri's
wish was to die of starvation and dehydration, and the
infamous Judge George Greer rubber stamps it. Why?

Bobby Schindler Responds to Schiavo Grave Inscription

Unfortunately, Terri Schiavo's biological family, the family that fought so hard to prevent her from being starved and dehydrated to death, continue to endure one agony after another as a result of Michael Schiavo's apparent complete lack of human compassion.

As written in my previous post, the cremated remains of Terri Schiavo were buried yesterday at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park in Clearwater, Florida in the presence of her husband, Michael Schiavo, at least one of his brothers, and a priest. Terri's grave marker is inscribed at the bottom with the words "I kept my promise," although just which promise that was and to whom isn't made clear. We all know that he would like everyone to believe that the promise was to Terri, but no one other than Michael and his own relatives ever verified that Terri ever asked him for a promise 'to starve and dehydrate her to death' or that he in fact made such a promise to her. However, Terri was in fact starved and dehydrated to death by judicial fiat, she was cremated, and contrary to a court order - she was buried without her immediate family being notified in advance of the service.

QUOTED the article of Terri's vindication;

This Godless age is frightening. We have lost respect for all that is true, good and just. And now those who seek injustice get championed by the voices that should be defending the downtrodden and outcast. Even in death, Terri's story of injustice screams with injustice. The question is: Will anybody be listening?

Your righteous anger is not unjust, and we must never let this infect our society, although it is worming its way in.

Oh I agree with you that it's not unjust anger. I'm just saying that my fuming about it right now in this instant isn't helping anyone out. The thought that God will make things as they should be in His time helps me to control my anger is all. I totally think that whenever possible we need to protest detestable situations like this and fuel our deeds with the justifiable anger, but just letting the anger fester without doing an action that will make a difference does not do anyone any drop of good.

For example, if I knew that a similar situation were going on in a hospital you'd bet your booty I'd be out there protesting when I could, but fuming and fussing about it when I'm not out there protesting but when I shoudl be focusing on my family is not productive. That's where anger management comes in.;)

 I agree. I feel just as hapless and helpless.
I had {What I consider} a small nervous breakdown myself.
I visible shook when she was being starved and dehydrated. {But due to health, this is a regular symptom to my diseases when I get upset or under stress.}
I had to go to my doc, because all my underlying health issues were coming out full blast.

I was too nauseas to eat, and felt guilt anyway.
I agree, the anger came out on me in other ways. Crying, emotional roller coaster...and just too many things baout the case made me indignant that this judge got away with aiding this man in murdering his wife, who by all accounts probably did this to her.

Even the blasted coronor said the 'signs' of strangulation would not be evident now, so he could not say abuse was impossible, just not evident after 15 years.

:crossrc: Ok, I have to not go there {That dark time} again, but I will still be heard all I can. I just cannot let my emotions get the best of me again.

But I understand you hon.

I'm fuming about the new tombstone Michael Schiavo planted on the grave of Terri. How disgusting.

Absolutely outrageous. Can't think of anything else so disturbing. A selfish and ruthless man with no compassion. 'My promise'? Wow, that says it all. And the 'departed' part. Sheesh, who made him God?
