Bubble Yum
Candy shaped like cigarettes
shows like Happy Days, Brady Bunch, The Waltons, and other wholesome (gasp) shows which would never get off the ground now
Loony Tunes and a zillion other cartoons on Sat mornings
AMC Pacers and Gremlins (the ugliest car ever lol)
8 track tapes
"Lasarium" shows (oooh lasers, how high tech)
building plastic model cars planes etc
"caps" (with play guns that didn't have to have an orange tip)
sports that WEREN'T highly organized
transistor radios
mood rings
lava lamps
feathered hair styles

I miss phones with dials and those looooong cords. We always loved to track my brother down when he tried to hide out while he talked to girlfriends....it was easy, just follow the cord!

I was more a child of the 80's and adopted the 90's scene, but my very early childhood was in the 70's.

I miss the color schemes. For some reason there is a a certain hughes of color that yells 70's. Maybe it's pastels, maybe it's mixed with fluffy white. Either way when I see it at an antique store or Goodwill, I know it has to be something from the 70's.
