I've wondered the same thing, but like Rhayven said, don't let it put you off. Just make sure you are respectful when talking to them (Not that I have any reason to believe you wouldn't be!)

haha, I get on better with adults than anyone else.

In Rugby they always end up giving me the opportunity to score and to help out. A group of my own age pretty much ignores me, or keeps me at arms reach because I'm weird

Well, I was reading a book one day. I chucked it across the room and felt like lighting it on fire and screaming to the world,"My generation is not this!!!" You see, the book calls our generation the "Lost generation." I raged a little. Adults look at all the negatives of our generation. Its not bad, there is a whole lotta bad stuff in us. But adults get this fused into their brain, and it takes a lot to break that subconscious preconception of teenagers. And I agree with everyone else, don't let it worry you or put you down. Go out there and prove 'em wrong! You can do all things through Christ!

Well, in all honesty Girder, our generation's pretty messed up... More so than most, if not all, preceding generations. We'll have to run the world one day, most of us won't be ready.

True, our generation is probably the worst generation. But I believe in speaking life into things. And I hate it when people put a bad name on something so huge. I think it affects us immensly. We are very much a "you think thats bad? Watch this!" type of generation. The more they say we are bad, the worse we get. We need upliftment, not downgrading.

Plus, you can't generalize like most adults do. They assume all teenagers are sex-addicted drug mongers that just go around causing trouble. I know that's not me, that will never be me, and I don't believe that's really anyone on this site, or any of my friends. So, far-reaching generalizations and stereotypes drive me insane.
