Anyone at the Joyce Meyer/TD Jakes event in St Louis?

With it being such a momentous time, many will have been praying for a special word from God: can anyone share?

Meanwhile, this Oral Roberts/Kenneth Copeland conference/broadcast advance email just came in, that may well echo what God said there:-

"Instantly I heard that voice…and then I saw with my eyes something I'd never seen. While I am not able to answer your question about the Joyce Meyer/TD Jakes event (although I wish I could have attended), I wanted to thank you for posting the information about the Oral Roberts/Ken Copeland programs because having seen him on Benny Hinn Recently, I am following with great interest any further information about his recent vision re: America. He seemed very shaken up by this vision when he talked about it on the Benny Hinn program and I think we are in a very momentus time and I for one am taking this vision seriously. I will be sure to watch these programs on Ken Copeland. I don't know if you are aware of it, but Billye Brim is on this week's broadcast discussing end times signs and I highly recommend watching her teachings if you get a chance this week. They are also viewable online at the kcm website (can't post it here) from last week in case you missed any.

Joyce Meyer is fantastic! I wish I could listen to her sermons in the church because she's so powerful on TV. I think it would be a wonderful experience.

I was there. And I am sooo glad that I went. I didn't really have the money to go, but 6 of us went from the church and our pastor was so kind to pay for our tickets and our rooms out of the church budget and we will all pay it back as we can.

There were five sessions. We attended all of them. Joyce spoke in the first session on Thursday night. She also spoke in the second session Friday morning. T.D. Jakes spoke Friday night. Darlene Zschech spoke on Saturday morning, as well as leading the praise and worship for the first three sessions. Joyce finished up the conference by speaking the final session on Saturday afternoon.

I came away from there a different person on the inside. God can move suddenly with radical changes, but most often He changes the insides and the changes have to work their way outward.

I am still going over my notes and digesting the teachings given, I hope to be able to purchase the videos from the conference so that I can fill in the gaps in my notes caused by the poor lighting where we were sitting and constantly jumping up and down hollering, especially while T.D. Jakes was encouraging us to be "Stirred Up"... I yelled "Stir it UP" so many times and so loudly that I was hoarse the next morning and I found that the package of cough drops I had in my bag made me very popular with the other ladies from my church!

If there is anyone reading who was there and took notes, I would love to compare with them... I am especially interested in Darlene Zschech's teaching. She went to Joyce after T.D. Jakes spoke and offered to give up her speaking time because she didn't think she had anything to say, that she was just a plain little Austrailian girl who only had plain things to say. Joyce told us about this as she introduced her for her turn to speak. Joyce told her that variety was important and that a little plain talk from a little plain Austrailian girl was just what the conference needed. I am so glad that she didn't let her step down because Darlene's talk was the one that impacted me the most. I didn't take notes in the first part of her talk because I was so blown away that I couldn't write, so if anyone has the gist of what she said were the qualities or attributes of a woman of worship I would be so thankful if you could share them with me. Her attitude of worship is so amazing and touched me so deeply... extravagent worship... it is the key to everything and that knowledge has been forming slowly within me for years, her talk put the capper on it, gave all my little thoughts about it a new depth and made the concept so precious to me...

and... next year... the guest speaker will be Creflo Dollar and the worship will be led by... oh, man, I just can't beleive this... CeCe Winan! I am really hardwired to respond to music fastest and sometimes deeper than the speaking, sometimes I get my blessing and message from God before the speakers even hit the podem and to have been blessed with sweet Darlene and Hillsong this year and to have CeCe Winan to look forward to next year... well, I am overwhelmed with how good God is to me...

God is speaking to this country, that was one of the things that Joyce spoke about in one of the sessions and she had a man speak to us about how the historians are rewriting American history and removing the fact that God built this country through the God fearing men who were our early leaders. One nation under GOD... and In God We Trust... we can't let them take those away from us, and we have to get God back in the schools... arrgh...stepping down from the soapbox now...

and regardless of how much some people criticise them...people saying things like you did is proof enough for me, that God is using these people, becuase the results that you got is the point and effect of true ministry.
i do personally love all of them.

i do personally love all of them.

It is very interesting to me that you mentioned this because I have had some real run ins with people in forums concerning Joyce Meyer... mostly with MEN who think that women are prohibited from teaching and preaching... I had some lingering hesitation when we went to the this conference because of this negativity. While that man spoke about how America is a Christian country first and formost regardless of what the liberal secular leadership would try to make us beleive... that still small voice spoke to me and told me that this is the heart of the oppostion to Joyce's ministry... the liar hates her because of her stand in this issue especially because he wants to kill Christian America... and to kill the message, he is attacking the messenger... Joyce didn't speak on this herself, but she did put this man on the platform to give his message to 19,000 women and she didn't do it lightly either, she told us to pay attention because what he would say to us was important...
And T.D. Jakes kind of tossed off an offhand comment that really socked me in the stomach hard... I have been so tormented with the feeling that I have a call to teach but those negative voices kept ringing in my ears that women are not to teach... He pointed out that when the Samaritan woman went running from the well to tell everyone she had met a man who told her everything she had done and that surely he was the Messiah... she laid the foundation for Timothy's ministry... man... he must have only spent like two minutes saying that, but it has rang in my head over and over, especially since he prefaced it by saying that he really had a problem with those who try to say women are not to teach and preach... I went there really unfamiliar with his teachings, but I am going to be looking up his books at our bookstore real soon!

Hmmm...well I had a lot of problems and watched a lot of sermons on TV, mainly Creflo Dollar, TD Jakes and Jesse Duplantis. They all encouraged me, but only Joyce Meyer has ever fully driven a point into my head.

Joyce makes a difference. God chose her and what men say about women teaching should just be ignored. God's choices are always correct!

yes t.d. jakes is a true man of God, if God priviledges you to sit under any kind of his ministry you should take advantage of it.
he is so full of the wisdom of God, and knows what it is like to be misunderstood.

hehe, i dont know anyone who can preach like T.D. Jakes.
he says things that no one else can say, and does things that no one else can do, hehe.

i certainly agree, it was a woman who helped teach apollos and raise him up, the bible mentions women prophets, the bible says our sons and daughters shall prophecy. it is foolish or just plain deceived to think women shouldnt have a place to speak in the church.
