Anybody else talk/laugh at PC?

I admit to talking/laughing at my PC.

Just tonight a friend asked me a question in a PM...
I gave her a simple answer knowing she would have to PM back.

As soon as I saw the flashing "Private Message" thingie I started laughing.
And I continued to laugh as I read her note saying "AND...".

So as expected she did want a fuller answer.

Curiosity killed the cat but satsisfaction brought her back. NEENER NEENER NEENER!!! Course I talk to the pc. How would you hear me otherwise!

It only makes sense to talk aloud the messages we are typing and reading.

One time in the Intro forum there was some trolls leaving obscene messages.

One of the regular greeters at the time was a young teen gal.

I was yelling at my screen, GET OUT OF THE INTRO forum.

I did not want her to see and read what I did not want to read.

I finally PMed her and asked her to step away for awhile because of what was going on.

She thanked me and called me MA'AM. That's another story.

Oh I hate that Ma'am thing!!! I am not Ma'am my mother is!! Anyway everyone here thinks I spend entirely too much time on this thing but where else can you hang out with your friends every night. And I try to keep the talking/laughing down and the music up so they won't put me in a straight jacket and take me away!!!

Me too!!! other than school and work, I'm on the computer. The last few weeks though have just been school!! Finals are next week, so maybe I'll have time to have more of a life!

Most of the people I know here are married and/or have kids and just don't have time to hang out. So this is the one place I can come to and talk with other people. I have made some really awsome friends in this forum.

Because of health issues I do not get out and about much.
The PC is the only connection I have with the outside world other than work.

With the job that I'm engaged with, I talk a lot to the PC as in talking to the PC literally and sometimes, "scolding" the PC as well.

I been online since 97..I still cant remember what I did before that..must been something@

I used to play online games over a modem line, I'd lag out (connection interupted) and before you know it BOOM! I've been blown away by a Panzer Mark IV! I would just start yelling at my computer. It wasn't good for me or the computer, I think I smacked it upside it's monitor once. I've got rid of game BTW.

I always talk to my computer - although generally it's to shout at it for not working!!! I talk to myself alot too though, only place to get a good answer

So I said "YEAH" - and "Hi kelco" to my PC.
